Mulberry Plaster Pink Soft Buffalo Mini Alexa Shopping Report

Posted in Handbags & Accessories, Mulberry with tags , , , on February 26, 2012 by Alan + Mei-Mei the pug

Well you ask for more of the shopping reports and we listen! So, it is with great pleasure to welcome back our guest editor “Mademoiselle L.” and her most recent shopping report on finding a perfect small size bag for every day uses in the busy city of New York!

I’m a new Mulberry customer and only started eyeing the Mulberry bags when I first saw the article about the Mulberry oversized Alexa on FashionistasDaily.com. I have a number of oversized top handle bags that aren’t great for running errands in the city. I’ve been looking for a small shoulder bag that’s good for taking a walk, going to the grocery store, or doing other tasks where I need my hands to be free. The mini size Mulberry Alexa is great for that! I was also looking for a fun color and I was sold on the plaster pink as soon as I saw the rose gold hardware.

Mulberry Fall 2011 London Fashion Week Show – Proper English Girl Meets The Fantastic Mr. Fox In an Countryside Secret Garden

The house of Mulberry is known for their fabulous handbags such as their “Bayswater” & “Alexa ” bags, that has fashionistas all over the world fighting & trying to get their hands on one of those must-have handbags of the season. With couple season of ready-to-wear collection under their belt, I love their Fall-Winter 2011 collection just presented on 2-20-2011 at London’s Claridge’s Mayfair Hotel. The collection’s inspiration was the Fantastic Mr. Fox & the show was feminine, focused and very English proper with a little naughty quirky twist kind of look that many Mulberry followers loved!

Many celebrities & fashionable socialites such as Olivia Palermo, Gemma Arterton, Kirsten Dunst, Clemence Poesy, Rosamund Pike, Rebecca Hall and many more sitting front row.

Creative director Emma Hill said the look she is trying to achieve for this season was “She’s a posh girl gone a bit bad, living in a manor, who’s thrown her duffel coat over her evening dress to go out for a smoke” and the fabulous opening look; a sumptuous leather shearling coat over a long luxurious gold lame gown, sets the tone of the collection perfectly!
